Project Vida offers our Care Services to individuals and their families impacted by HIV/AIDS. These services are here to assist those impacted by HIV/AIDS with medication, food assistance, and more. Don't know your own status? Email us or walk in and get tested today.
HIV/STI Counseling and Testing Services
Condoms are available to the general public on a walk-in basis during general operating hours, Monday through Friday at both sites. Free and confidential HIV counseling and testing is available to the general public by appointment or during general operating hours on a first-come, first-serve basis and funded by the Chicago Department of Public Health.lutpat dictum.
HIV Medical Case Management
Project Vida's medical case management program provides a wide range of services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Our medical case managers identify medical and social service needs and facilitate referrals to meet those needs. They link clients to HIV medical care and medication assistance, provide adherence counseling, assist clients in applying for benefits, including housing, transportation, food and nutrition services, and facilitate access to emergency homelessness prevention funds in times of crisis. at dictum.
The Food Pantry provides food on a weekly or biweekly basis to qualified people living with HIV/AIDS. The Food Pantry is funded by Vital Bridges/Heartland Alliance with Health Resources Service Administration (HRSA).
Individual mental health counseling is available to individuals who are impacted by HIV/AIDS.
Project VIDA's group counseling offers an opportunity for individuals impacted by HIV/AIDs to reach out to reach out to other members of the community also impacted by the virus.
